Our mission is to serve the greater Dryden area as an educational and cultural center which provides free printed, electronic and audiovisual resources for the general public to inform, enlighten and entertain.

READ BABY READ! Baby and toddler Storytimes on Thursdays at 10 am. Bring your child for an engaging time with stories, games and fingerplays!
Adult Book club- February 14 at 11 a.m. - The Immortal Life of Henrietta lacks by Rebecca Skloot
American Girls Book Club- Addy! Wednesday February 8 and February 29 at 3:45 p.m. in the Teen room.

Southworth Library welcomes you to examine the resources available to you through our library collection and services-- whether it is materials to take home, newspapers to read, free databases available through our website or even downloadable e-books. Start at the library catalog and go from there! Remember that you can use your card in any Tompkins County Library including the Tompkins County Library in Ithaca, Newfield Public Library, Groton Public Library, Lansing Community Library and the Ulysses Philomathic Library in Trumansburg!
